EMS Band - New Members - Start - Up Lesson

May 18th(3pm-4:30pm): Optional but highly encouraged start-up lesson with all students.During this lesson, Ms. Washington will teach them how to set up theirinstrument and how to produce the first notes on their instrument. Studentswill need to have an instrument rented and a book purchased by this date. Theywill bring their instrument to school that day and can store it in the bandroom during the school day. They will come into the band room right afterschool is done, and she will teach them all like a class. This is optional butit is highly encouraged so students can decide whether they will work best inmusic lessons or learning on their own during the summer.
