Summer School Overview
- Summer school will be in person at Grovetown High School, May 28 - June 25, 2026
- Sessions will be held Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. - 11:40 a.m.
- Summer school courses are offered for middle school students who need to remediate for grade promotion.
- A middle school student may not take more than two classes in summer school.
- Summer school classes will depend on demand and the availability of certified teachers.
Registration - April 27 - May 22, 2026
- All Columbia County School District students must register through their zoned schools.
- Registration for all students will take place beginning on April 27 until 12:00 p.m. on May 22, 2026. Parents must complete registration online using the links below and must present payment before the student is scheduled for classes.

- Classes are filled in the order of receipt of the registration form and payment. Requests cannot be guaranteed.
- Classes have a maximum limit of 18 students per class.
- Summer school is only offered to students enrolled in a school in the Columbia County School District before the last day of the school year.

- MASTERCARD, VISA, and DISCOVER CARDS are accepted via RevTrak at

- Cash, money order, cashier's check, or personal checks payable to the school of registration
Tuition
- Currently enrolled Columbia County Students: $80 per class.
- Courses that do not meet the minimum enrollment will be canceled and refunds will be issued.
- NO REIMBURSEMENTS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER JUNE 3, 2026.

Summer School Rules

- Dress Code/Behavior - Student expectations and consequences for behavior and dress are outlined in the CCSD Code of Conduct for all middle and high school students during summer school.
- Attendance - A MAXIMUM of two (2) days of absence per class is allowed; NO EXCEPTIONS. Prior approvals are not granted, and exams are not given early. A student will be withdrawn without a refund on the third day of absence. Emergencies do arise, so plan accordingly.
- Schedule - 1st period (7:30 - 9:30 a.m.) and 2nd period (9:40 - 11:40 a.m.).
- Loitering - All students must leave campus after the conclusion of their last class.
